Our high resolution scans are processed through our grading model that eliminates human bias entirely. Every card is evaluated objectively, and the same submission will receive the same grade every single time, no exceptions. No bad days, no inconsistencies, no favoritism. Just precise, repeatable results you can trust.

While the codebase behind our grading model remains private, we believe in full transparency with our customers. Our Grading Scale

At Chrysos, we believe grading should be straightforward. The industry's traditional 10 point scale sounds comprehensive in theory but in practice, the difference between a 7 and a 7.5, or an 8 and an 8.5, is nearly impossible to define consistently and even harder for collectors to trust. More numbers doesn't mean more precision. They mean more room for subjectivity. We've refined our process down to three definitive grades a 10, a 9, or an 8. Every card we evaluate earns one of these three marks, each representing an unbiased tier of condition on our personal scale. No half points, no ambiguity, no debate. Just an honest grade you can stand behind.
